iPhone 64GB
Toshiba has recently announced plans to mass-produce NAND flash memory with 64GB capacity next year. Some predict as the main components used in Apple iPod and iPhone devices.
Not surprisingly, there was speculation that Apple is the vendor who will take advantage of these components for the iPhone and iPod in the future. It’s no secret if the iPhone is now armed 3GS module components 16GB and 32GB NAND Flash. While the iPod Touch using 32GB and 64GB flash module.
Currently, examples of this new chip is already available and mass production is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2010. Toshiba reveals, these products will be used on smartphones, cell phones, digital cameras and video netbook.
According to the company, the chip offers the ability to play this 64GB 1070 hours of music at 128 kpbs, 8.3 hour set of high-definition video and 19.2 hours of standard video.
